Herve Stouvenel – Head Chef
Herve’s inimitable style, passion and innovation brings guests back time and time again and was key component of us winning Great British Pub Of The Year 2021 and firmly places The Bell on the culinary map.
He advocates using only the finest quality local ingredients and having established new roots in Norfolk many years ago, he has formed strong relationships with local farms and suppliers. This, along with his wealth of experience, abundance of knowledge and unique skillset ensures that he produces deliciously flavoursome food, which is both honest and authentic.
Michelin trained, Hervé blends modern and classic ideas; tweaking English favourites with French techniques that express global influences from his experience cooking in Europe and the Caribbean. His nose-to-tail style means that everything is deliciously utilised with no leftover waste (something the Head Chef firmly embraces).
The cultivation of future talent is vitally important to Herve, to ensure that his team deliver consistently, and our discerning guests always share a special experience. His daily changing menu offers fresh, locally sourced, and seasonal food that his talented team of chefs conjure up with artistic precision.
