Our waiting staff are always happy to assist with any questions regarding allergies or intolerances. All sauces, jus and gravy’s are gluten free. All our menus are fresh, seasonal and as local as possible. Please be aware due to ongoing increasing costs from our suppliers, prices may vary from those below.

With a plethora of food and drink awards, The Bell has established itself in the heart of Norfolk as a pub definitely worth a visit. Our daily changing menu offers fresh, locally sourced and seasonal food alongside a broad range of drinks to accompany any dish our talented chefs conjure up.

Herve Stouvenel – Head Chef

Hervé advocates using only the finest quality local ingredients and having lived in Norfolk for many years, he has formed strong relationships with local farms. This, along with his wealth of experience, ensures that he produces flavoursome food, which is both honest and authentic.

Michelin trained, Hervé blends modern and classic ideas; tweaking English favourites with French techniques that express global influences from his experience cooking in Europe and the Caribbean. 

His nose-to-tail style means that everything is deliciously utilised with no leftover waste (something the Head Chef firmly embraces). His skills, knowledge and passion for food firmly place The Bell on Norfolk’s culinary map.

Food Service Times

Monday & Tuesday (Staying guests only)

A set menu will be available at 6.30pm only (3 courses from £25- with four choices for starters and mains)

Wednesday – Saturday

Lunch 12noon – 2pm. Dinner 6pm – 8.45pm


Sunday Lunch 12noon – 4pm. Sunday Supper 4pm – 6pm
